The Six Million Dollar Man (1973) - Steve Austin (Lee Major) Bionic Arm
Hero bionic arm worn by the character of Steve Austin (Lee Majors) in The Six Millon Dollar Man television series. Steve Austin is an astronaut who is seriously injured when his spaceship crashes. Handsome and athletic, Austin undergoes a government-sanctioned surgery, which rebuilds several of Steve's body parts with machine parts, making him cyborglike. When Steve recovers, his machine parts enable him to have superhuman strength and speed, as well as other powers. With these powers, Steve goes to work for the Office of Scientific Information, battling evil for the good of mankind.

This bionic arm played a pivotal role in popular culture, captivating audiences with its portrayal of human-machine integration. As an icon of innovation and strength, it symbolizes the limitless possibilities of merging technology with humanity. This arm consists of a metal frame with a static casting of Majors’ right hand. Visibly seen in the forearm section are custom-made buttons, circuits, and wires that resemble a cyborg. Further up the arm near the elbow is a custom clamp that allowed it to be worn during filming and features a hinge that allows it to hinge freely. The hero arm exhibits wear from production but remains in overall great production used condition.
