Uncommon pair of press packets for 'The Rolling Stones American Tour 1972' and 'The Rolling Stones' Tour of the Americas '75.' The packet for the 1972 tour, also known as the 'Stones Touring Party,' contains three glossy photos of the band, Mick Jagger, and Keith Richards, a 23-page press release with band and tour history, and an MTI Business School stationery sheet, with an unknown hand documenting various highlights from the tour, in part: "Lee Radiziweill—Keith & Gary dropped 2 Qualudes in her drink—she crashed," "First night Capote on tour—6 am Keith says 'lets get Capote up'—bangs on door,'Come on you cnt, wake up!' 'What is it?' 'Come on you cunt, if you really want to know what rock and roll's about, get your ass out here—' 'Thank you very much but I'm sleeping' — Keith proceeded to call him everything in the book," "Canada—A week of one nighters—Keith fainted in dressing room." The 1975 press packet contains eight glossy photos of the band, an itinerary packet numbered 102, and various typed articles and biographical sketches. In overall very good to fine condition, with creasing to the 1975 folder.
