The Philadelphia Story (MGM, 1940). Lobby Card (11" X 14"). Katharine Hepburn scored a major victory for her career when she purchased the rights to the Broadway sensation, "The Philadelphia Story." She brought this sophisticated comedy to the silver screen where it was nominated for Best Picture and brought her a nomination for Actress as well. This scene depicts Hepburn with her co-star Cary Grant and is one of the most sought after cards in the set. It has only a minute bit of "handling"; it is one of the best copies we've ever seen.
