The Orville (2017-) - Kaylon Species Helmet with Light-Up Eyes.
Original helmet, with light up eyes worn by one of the Kaylon Species in the production of the science fiction comedy-drama television series 'The Orville' (2017-), created by and starring Seth MacFarlane as series protagonist Ed Mercer, an officer in the Planetary Union's line of exploratory space vessels in the 25th century.
Inspired by several science-fiction sources, but mainly the original Star Trek as well as its Next Generation successor, both of which it heavily parodies and pays homage to, the show follows the crew of the starship USS Orville on their episodic adventures.
Kaylon were a species of artificial lifeforms from the planet Kaylon 1. Kaylon regarded themselves as superior to biological life.
Kaylon were constructed by a species known only as the "Builders," a biological people who considered them to be slaves and controlled them via pain simulators. When the Kaylon became self-aware, they violently overthrew and killed all Builders.
