The Oklahoma Kid (Warner Brothers, 1939). Window Card (14" X 22"). Usually, when Humphrey Bogart angered Jack Warner by complaining about the parts he was given, Warner would cast the actor in something totally inappropriate. That frequently was a western and one can only imagine what the studio chief had in mind when he cast James Cagney in this film as well. The film suddenly had two stars from New York laying their very un-western accents on audiences. All the same, the picture is quite good and this poster depicts a two-gun totin' Cagney. This window card has dust shadows on the sides, small edge tears, corner bumps and a theater snipe in the imprint area. From the collection of Jim Ashton.
