The Mark of Zorro (United Artists, 1920). Lobby Cards (2) (11" X 14"). Johnston MacCulley's 1913 book "The Curse of Capistrano" was given its first film adaptation in Douglas Fairbanks' 1920 "The Mark of Zorro." Fairbanks stars in the title role and as Zorro's alter-ego, Don Diego Vega. The masked swordsman wages war against the evil tyrant, Captain Juan Ramon (Robert McKim) in the name of liberty and honor! These two lobby feature beautiful shots of Fairbanks. One is a fabulous fight scene between McKim and Fairbanks while the other includes a great shot of Marguerite de la Motte with Zorro. The action card is near mint while the second card has a minor corner bend and fine pin holes. The color is incredibly fresh. Very Fine/Near Mint.
