The Man Who Could Work Miracles (United Artists, 1936). British Half Sheet (22" X 28"). Sci-Fi grandmaster H.G. Wells had been recruited by producer Alexander Korda to write the Utopian science fiction film "Things to Come" (1936). They then reteamed for this film which was a spiritual follow-up of sorts to "Things to Come." Roland Young stars as a meek clerk who is suddenly granted the power to make his every wish come true. A power which he soon learns to regret. The film is a wonderful spectacle of early special effects. This half sheet has several pinholes and very light fold wear. The poster has been mounted on paper and has had some touch-up restoration. Very fun artwork of Young highlights this wonderful poster. Very Fine on Paper.
