<B>The Lone Ranger (Republic, 1938).</B></I> One Sheet (27" X 41"). Chapter 6: "Red Man's Courage." Republic Pictures bought the rights to the nation-wide Ranger craze that had swept the radio airwaves and released this serial to the delight of young and old. It was the first on-screen depiction of the hero that would become a national icon. The posters for this serial have always been scarce, and this is one of the most desirable from the Republic Studio output. This is the first copy we have ever offered! This beautiful poster has chips from the borders on the lower left and right, and some chipping in the right border. There was some fold wear and cross fold wear. All of these problems have been addressed in the restoration, and the poster displays beautifully.
