Drury, John (David R.D. Edmunds). NUMISMATIC LITERATURE CATALOGUES. Nos. 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, 38, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 49, 51, 55, 58, & 61. Colchester, (1971)-1978 and 1982-88. Thirty-two different catalogues. Varying formats, original printed card covers. [with] Seaby (Rare Books) Ltd. RARE NUMISMATIC BOOKS. Catalogues 1-6. London, 1979-81. Six illustrated catalogues, all in the original printed card covers. Generally fine. A nearly complete series of some of the best fixed price catalogues of numismatic literature ever produced. Lacking only Catalogue No. 48 to be complete for numismatics. The gaps in the Drury sequence are comprised of non-numismatic catalogues. Expertly written and researched by David Edmunds and particularly rich in antiquarian titles, John Drury catalogues remain invaluable to numismatic bibliophiles and booksellers. The six Seaby catalogues were written by Edmunds when he headed their book department and are hence considered part of the series. Ex RBW Library.
