Concept Art Gallery Presents an Important Single Owner Auction Sale, The James J. White Collection, February 20th, 2010. The James White Collection features approximately 300 lots of fine and decorative art property. The offering ranges from Botanical Illustrations and prints by internationally recognized Artists to exceptional 19th Century American Still Life Paintings, Inuit Sculpture, Contemporary Indian Art, and Natural History Paintings, maps and Civil War memorabilia. The Collection is guided by Jim White's scholarly interests and incomparable taste. For thirty years, Jim was the Curator of Art and Senior Research Scholar at the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation. Jim was recently diagnosed with a debilitating neurological disease and the collection is being sold to raise funds for his long term care.
