Original pressing of The Unicorn by The Irish Rovers, released on Decca Records DL 4951. This 1967 release became a landmark in folk music, propelled by the massive success of the title track “The Unicorn,” written by Shel Silverstein. This copy features the distinctive spiral unicorn artwork and includes additional traditional Irish folk songs like “Black Velvet Band” and “The Wind That Shakes the Corn.” Pressed in Canada, the album remains an enduring staple of Irish folk collections. Cover is in VG condition with slight yellowing to spine edge.
