The Invisible Menace (Warner Brothers, 1938). One
The Invisible Menace (Warner Brothers, 1938). One Sheet (27" X 41"). During the late 1930s, Boris Karloff worked with a number of studios as a character actor for hire, doing such stints as "Mr. Wong" with Monogram, co-starring with Warner Oland in a "Charlie Chan" film as well as doing a series of pictures with Warner Brothers. This film was his second with director John Farrow at Warners. Based on a short-lived Broadway play, Karloff plays a prime suspect in the murder of an army officer. The film co-starred Marie Windsor, so had the inevitable comedic moments with her presence. This pretty one sheet has been linenbacked and has had removal of tape from the backside. There was slight border chipping and some small amount of paper loss in the lower horizontal fold and the vertical fold within the title. The restored poster appears in excellent condition. Fine on Linen.
