Actor Sylvester Stallone and world heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali playfully square off on stage as Ali made a surprise appearance at the 49th Annual Academy Awards as Stallone was preparing to present Beatrice Straight with an 'Oscar' for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her role in Network, at the Music Center.
