The Hindenburg Original Crash Relic
"Four original pieces of the aluminum frame taken from the burning dirigible Hindenburg that was destroyed by fire on May 6, 1937 in Lakehurst, NJ. One larger fragment measures 1 x .5, with the three smaller pieces measuring approximately .25 x .35 each, with all four mounted to a slightly larger square slip of paper. In fine condition and accompanied by a letter of provenance from Frederica Anderson, whose father picked up a larger piece at the site and a copy of the obituary of Herbert Morrison who is known for his famous eyewitness account of the disaster. A very significant piece of history from an unforgettable event."
