Original vintage helmet worn by one of the roman soldiers in the George Stevens directed epic film 'The Greatest Story Ever Told' (1965), a retelling of the Biblical account about Jesus of Nazareth, from the Nativity through to the Ascension. Along with the ensemble cast, it is Claude Rains' final film role. It received five Academy Award nominations.
Starring Max Von Sydow, John Wayne, Charlton Heston, Sidney Poitier, Carroll Baker, Pat Boone, Van Heflin, Martin Landau, Angela Lansbury, Roddy McDowall, Sidney Poitier, Telly Savalas, Ed Wynn and Shelley Winters.
