Academy Award–nominated actor (1933–1988) best known for his role as capo Pete Clemenza in the 1972 classic The Godfather. Castellano died of a heart attack at the age of 55. Uncommon ink signature and inscription, “Love to Walter, Richard S. Castellano,” on an off-white 3.5 x 5.5 sheet of his personal stationery. Sheet is taped to a 4.5 x 7 sheet of cardboard. Central vertical fold, some horizontal toning from a magnetic album, a bit of light soiling, and tape to edges, otherwise fine condition.
