The Gaucho. (United Artists, 1927). Title Lobby Card + The Gaucho (United Artists, 1927).
The Gaucho (United Artists, 1927). Title Lobby Card and Scene Card (11" X 14"). As South America's greatest bandit, The Gaucho (Douglas Fairbanks), is a cavalier but flawed character that womanizes and spurns religion. After The City of Miracles falls into the hands of the evil Usurper (Seyffertitz), whose goal is to loot the city of its riches, The Gaucho has a change of heart and finds a salvation of his own. The title card layout is brilliant, and in remarkable shape. There are two pinholes in the upper left (one in his hat - which also has a light scratch above the pinhole), and a single pinhole on the right border. There are some light corner marks and abrasions on the right corners (very minor). The city card has only two pinholes and very crisp and clean. The cards grade out at Near Mint-.
