<B>The Funnies #35 File Copy (Dell, 1939) CGC VF+ 8.5 Cream to off-white pages.</B></I> The first cover appearance of John Carter of Mars makes this one noteworthy for the Burroughs fan. Debuting in this issue is the Mr. District Attorney feature (later a DC series). Dick Tracy also appears. This is the only copy graded above 4.0 by CGC to date. Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $488; VF/NM 9.0 value = $769.
