DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, September 16, 1969. Document terminating the band’s managers James Duke Seiter and Philip Kaufman. In part: “Your services and employment with regard to the Flying Burrito Bros. singing group, or members of the Flying Burrito Bros., are herby, forthwith terminated in total. Any contracts or agreements now in effect…are hereby terminated.” Signed at the conclusion in black felt tip by Gram Parsons, Chris Hillman, Peter Kleinow, and Michael Clarke. In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter from Seiter to Kaufman terminating their partnership, three registered mail receipts (two from Hillman, one from Seiter), a receipt signed by Kaufman, and the mailing envelope to Seiter from Hillman. A very early and seldom-offered line-up, as Parsons left the band the following year and passed away in 1973.
