<B>The Firefly (MGM, 1937).</B></I> One Sheet (27" X 41") Style D. Jeanette MacDonald and Allan Jones are spies for Spain and France, respectively, during the Napoleonic Wars. They meet and fall in love, but have to decide between their hearts and their duties. Taken from the operetta by Rudolf Friml. This alternate Style D one sheet features beautiful stone litho artwork. The poster has been trimmed slightly on both sides and the bottom. There is fold wear with tears and small separations, edge tears with paper loss on the back. It has been mounted on linen and some restoration has been done, so it still displays nicely.
