Hotel California album signed and inscribed on the gatefold in felt tip, "To John, Don Felder," "To John, Don Henley," "Joe Walsh," "Randy Meisner," "Glenn Frey," and "J. D. Souther." In very good to fine condition, with light scuffing and moderate edge wear, and light contrast to Frey's signature against the dark background. The record is included. This is a first pressing of The Eagles' iconic Hotel California album (Asylum Records 7E-1084 SP). Etched into the 'dead wax' matrix areas on the record are: "7E 1084 A-1RE SP, 'Is It 6 O'Clock Yet?'" and "7E-1084 B-1RE SP, 'V.O.L. Is Five Piece Live.'" The second of these 'secret messages' references the album's sixth track, 'Victim of Love,' which was recorded in a live studio session with no overdubbing. The iconic album topped the charts for a total of eight weeks, and won Grammy Awards for the singles 'Hotel California' (Record of the Year) and 'New Kid in Town' (Best Arrangement for Voices). A fabulous group-signed classic.
