The albums were originally house in their villa in France, and subsequently auctioned at Sotheby's (tags still attached). Included are approximately 250 b&w and color photographs of the Duke and Duchess with their friends Elsa Maxwell, Baron and Baroness de Rothschild, President Lyndon B. Johnson and Lady Bird Johnson, Cordelia Drexel Biddle, and many others.
