Stockdale, 1783), second edition, 472 pages, original pale gray boards shelf backed in tan paper, 8vo (5.5" x 9"), housed in a custom quarter leather slipcase with gilt spine titles. Collected here for the first time are the constitutions of the 13 original states. Frontispiece of a young George Washington. Front hinge has been repaired.
