Octavo. 264 pages. <BR><BR>Contemporary brown-calf binding with gilt lettering. The front endpaper includes the handwritten name, address, and purchase date of a previous owner. Fair to good condition with detached front cover, paper loss on the front endpaper, and some damp staining on the edges of the paper.<BR><BR>This is a 1783 Irish reprint of the 1781 U.S. first edition, which was printed in Philadelphia in a run of only 200 copies.
