Scarce original color 19.5 x 28 Sire Records promotional poster for the release of 'Blank Generation,' the 1977 debut album from punk rock band Richard Hell and the Voidoids, which features a large image of a green-faced, red-lipped, and empty-eyed Hell above his band name, the album name, images of the band members, and a list of October and November concert dates that reads, "On tour with the Clash." Asterisks indicate that the Clash won't appear on the last two dates at London's Music Machine (November 14 and 15, 1977). In very good condition, with heavy overall creasing, minor edge loss, and several tears repaired with old tape on the reverse.

Provenance: Bonhams, Rock & Roll Art, March 2011.
