This collection of props from Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat (Universal Pictures, 2003), showcasing the film’s meticulous attention to detail and bold, stylized world-building. These pieces were created for use by various actors and as set dressing throughout the idyllic, pastel-toned suburb of Anville.
The set features a Humberfloob’s Real Estate folder, measuring approximately 12 by 9 inches, bearing the company’s whimsical green-and-gold branding and tagline “Distinctive Homes.” Inside the folder is a full-color property listing flyer for 5143 Fort Porter Court, complete with a picturesque neighborhood photo and a tongue-in-cheek sales pitch describing “soaring views,” “travertine baths,” and “Juliet balconies.” Together, these elements represent the picture-perfect charm of Anville’s suburban life.
Also included is a faux book prop titled Rising Sun by Michael Crichton, measuring roughly 8.5 by 5.75 by 2 inches. Designed to match the film’s pastel color palette, the book features a lime-green cover with purple lettering, adding a dash of sophistication and humor to the film’s set décor.
Completing the collection is a translucent retail shopping bag, measuring about 15 by 12.25 by 4.75 inches, printed with a playful blue logo of a running butler carrying parcels. The bag’s frosted texture and exaggerated design are quintessential examples of the film’s exaggerated, cartoon-inspired production aesthetic.

The item(s) may exhibit varying levels of wear and studio distressing, as detailed in the listing images that provide an accurate representation of the condition.
