The issue is noteworthy not only because of its new format, but because it is the first Manhunter from Mars crossover outside of Detective Comics and Justice League of America. It also pre-dates the Manhunter's first appearance in House of Mystery #143. Artwork by George Roussos is an added attraction. In the story, Green Arrow and the Manhunter battle Vulkor the Capsule Master in a bizarre Silver Age sci-fi story that only DC could have published. This copy has remarkably fresh color and gloss. To date no other copies have been graded higher by CGC. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment.
