Brandon Lee's jacket worn and possibly bloodied when he was fatally shot by a gun mistakenly presumed emptied while filming ''The Crow''. Brandon, Bruce Lee's only son, starred as Eric Draven aka The Crow in the film based on the comic book of the same name. Lee sustained his mortal gunshot wound on 31 March 1993 when filming the movie's concluding scenes, a flashback sequence depicting his character's murder by a robber in his apartment. The on-set firearm professional had been dismissed from the set for the day, leaving the prop department, inexperienced with firearms, to handle the real .44 Magnum revolver. It had been loaded with real bullets with deactivated cartridges for one take, but the cartridges were not fully deactivated. As a result, a bullet partially fired unbeknownst to anyone, ejecting from the cylinder without exiting the gun's barrel, causing the malfunction known as a ''squib load''. After that take, the prop department emptied the revolver of the real bullets (those remaining in the cylinder) and filled it with blanks for the robbery scene, during which the blanks were to be fired at 12-15 feet from Lee by the robber character ''Fun Boy''. The next firing of the gun projected the surreptitiously lodged bullet from the barrel and into Brandon Lee, entering his body to the right of his navel and lodging in his spine. Lee underwent emergency surgery to no avail and passed away at age 28. Single-breasted black leather jacket by Leather Warehouse is a size 38. Reddish staining exists on the lining above the hem in the back. With a COA from the film's wardrobe supervisor Darryl Levine.
