A lovingly produced DVD with gorgeous original artwork. No expense has been spared - the Photographs are exactly what you will get. An ideal gift for any Beatles Fan! This Limited Edition DVD features an Audio recording of the Beatles performing on Sunday Night at the London Palladium on the night of 13th October 1963 against a slide-show of images from that night. Also included on the disc is a video clip of the Beatles leaving the Palladium after the show amidst the screaming crowds! Also a short ITN interview given after the show. The Audio has been professionally cleaned up and enhanced as best as it can be. Included is a mini-booklet featuring 28 photographs, Newspaper articles and other images of the Beatles on that very night.. Including after-show shots, and Promotional shots. I believe all these pictures and clips are all that exists of that night. I have tried to collate everything available into one DVD and the included mini-booklet.
This was the night that Beatlemania was born! Never had they appeared on a family show such as Sunday Night at the Palladium hosted by Bruce Forsythe! This was their big break. Nothing would ever be the same again after this show - which was watched on TV by 18 Million Viewers! Only 2000 lucky people were present at the Palladium that night to see them - and my own Mother was one of them! I created this DVD as a gift to her, and had a Limited few more made in the process.
Unfortunately it was uncommon for TV companies to retain live footage, as the video tapes were erased to be reused. ATV had no idea just how famous the Beatles would eventually become within that very year. Fortunately though, somebody had the good sense to record the footage on a reel-to-reel tape recorder off the TV! I recently acquired an early generation of this recording on Cassette tape from the Mid-80s. I was able to have this audio footage extracted and digitized professionally and to produce the very best version of the show available. It has been enhanced and cleaned up to give a very satisfying experience compared to other available versions.

2. The auctioneer will be the final judge as to who is the successful bidder. In the event of a dispute, the auctioneer shall at his discretion decide whether or not to reopen the bidding. If an item is withdrawn from auction it will be offered again at the auctioneers discretion. Title to all merchandise shall pass to the successful bidder at the fall of the auctioneers hammer. The purchaser shall assume full responsibility for the lot purchased once title has passed. All lots in the catalogue are subject to a reserve, of which the amount is confidential between Kristen Leighs auctions limited and the consigner. We reserve the right to bid up to the amount of reserve by placing successive or consecutive bids for a lot, or bid in response to other bidders.
POSTAGE:
3.The auction house has at any time the right to void the sale before any lots are shipped and will refund all monies paid within a reasonable amount of time normally within 2 weeks
3a. Invoices will be sent to the winning bidder within 5 days (for postage) of the close of the auction. And payment is due within 3 days of the invoice being sent. Payment can be made via bank transfer, card, UK cheque or Western union.
SHIPPING.
A shipping quote is provided by Kristen Leighs auctions limited on invoices and automatically includes tracking, which can be tracked on your end to your address. Insurance isn't included and can be added at an extra cost by contacting us.
4. In bidding on any lot offered, the bidder indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions. Title of each lot passes when the auctioneer or screen indicates sold. The bidder is responsible for knowing on which item he/she is bidding. If unsure the bidder should inquire or not bid. All autographed lots (Excluding signed photos) over the value of £150 will include a third party certificate of authenticity. A certificate of authenticity is an opinion expressed by a company as to it being genuine.
