The Artist with Pomegranate and Goblet, signed ,dated 1958, dedicated in Hebrew, French and Russian and inscribed Paris. Also dedicated on the reverse by author Jacques Lassaigne, dated 1960 and inscribed Jerusalem. This original drawing is on the second front page of the book "Chagall” by Jacques Lassaigne, which includes 15 original color and b/w lithographs (Mourlot 192-205, 207) (see close-ups 3-7).

Condition of book: Tea or coffee stain on the fringe of reproduction pages on second half of the book. All lithographs in good condition (no stain), except back cover lithograph which is also stained.
