We know that page quality matters to the discriminating Spidey collector, so somebody's going to be very happy with this copy here! This is the first appearance of Morbius, the first vampire to appear in a Code-approved comic book (and who was hustled onto the stands the instant the Code relaxed its rules to allow neck-biting types). Issue #101 also marked the first time that anyone but Stan Lee had scripted this series, but Stan's replacement was Roy Thomas, since voted one of the top ten writers in comics history! In addition to all of that, there's a Lizard appearance, and oh yeah, Spider-Man begins the issue with six arms. The cover and interior art are by Gil Kane. Overstreet 2006 NM- 9.2 value = $270.
