In addition to being the first issue of comics' most collected title, this has the first appearances of J. Jonah Jameson (irascible boss), John Jameson (All-American astronaut son of said boss) and the Chameleon (villain with self-explanatory powers). Steve Ditko drew the issue's cover (over Jack Kirby layouts) as well as the Stan Lee story. Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $9,250; VF/NM 9.0 value = $21,375.
