John Wayne's obsession became his masterpiece. "The Alamo" (1960), in which he produced with his own company, directed and starred (along with an all-star cast of Hollywood legends). This is one of the hero screen used Infantry costumes of the invading Mexican Army of General Santa Anna. It includes a Shako with white cover and red pom. The Tunic is light tan with gold buttons. Also includes a cowhide cartridge pack with cowhide strap, black leather scabbard with light brown leather strap, pewter bayonet and a wide green sash. Comes complete with a Mexican Army issued rifle. Also includes the original Western Costume - Hollywood wardrobe stamp. All tunics, pants and shakos are screen-worn although some of the belts and accessories are from the 2004 Disney version of "The Alamo". Comes with all documentation and an official COA.
