This is an original first edition from circa 1934 titled The Aftermath of Glory by author James Henry Rice, Jr. The book is hand signed by the author and comes with both illustrated paper dust cover and clear dust cover. The book also features the exceedingly desirable silhouettes by Carew Rice. The book is printed and published by Walker, Evans, & Cogswell Co. in 1934. These books were limited to only 350 copies with this being a great example. This shows a history of the development of the South Carolina court and scholarly description of its plant and animal life. The book measures 8 1/4" L x 5 3/4" W and 1 1/2" thick.
