Due to the belt-tightening of World War II, Walt Disney's theatrical releases after 1942's "Bambi" were no longer feature-length stories. Instead, these films were composed of multiple stories, including the two tales that make up this animated classic. The first is based on the children's story, "The Wind in the Willows," about an irresponsible toad; the second retells Washington Irving's "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." The story of Ichabod Crane endures as a Halloween staple. There are pin holes and very minor spots on the border of this very clean poster. Just the most minor cross fold separation is present.
