Character actress (1895–1978) best known for her role as Grandmama Addams on the TV series The Addams Family. Scarce vintage matte-finish 5 x 7 photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “Hello Lillian, Best wishes, Sincerely, Marie Blake.” In fine condition. Just the second photo we have ever offered signed with her real name. Rock used the professional name of Marie Blake from 1937 to 1952, due to advice and pressure from her agents and various movie producers. When she was finally free of all obligations, she changed her name back to Blossom, and used her married last name.
