Original set of hand drawn artwork used on the production of the Barry Sonnenfeld directed supernatural black comedy film 'The Addams Family' (1991), which focuses on a bizarre, macabre, aristocratic family who reconnect with what they believe to be a long-lost relative, Gomez's brother Fester Addams, who is actually the adopted son of a loan shark intending to swindle the Addams clan out of its vast wealth and fortune.

Starring Anjelica Huston, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance as Morticia Addams, Raul Julia as Gomez Addams, and Christopher Lloyd as Fester Addams.

Mr. Stewart did about 60 or so pieces of art for the film including the mural from the Addams Family ballroom scene.

John Stewart had a 25-year career as a Scenic and Portrait Artist for the entertainment industry with projects for television, motion picture and stage productions. He did portraits of Bette Davis, Henry Winkler, Brian Keith, James Brolin and others. He also did special art projects for Disney Studios, Disneyland, Disney World, Epcot and Animal Kingdom.
