S/N S84602, .38 spl. caliber. Factory letter notes this revolver was shipped to Padgett Brother in Dallas Texas, April 18, 1951. Blue finish, 4" barrel, oversized faux stag-horn grips. Ranger Hull served in both Company A and Company B in the 1950's and 1960's. He had a long career in law enforcement in Texas, this Smith & Wesson .38/44 Heavy Duty model revolver was his carry weapon during his entire career. This comes with a factory Roy Jinks letter ordered by his family, one of his Company A Texas Ranger badges made of a Mexico Cinco Peso silver coin, and a copy of Ranger Jay Banks' book "Legend in Bronze", (notably signed by author Susie Mills), in which Ranger Hull is pictured.
