This is an excellent set of early 1900’s Texas Prison fully mounted silver spurs with long shank. The set shows a true Texas pattern in a Bianchi style having the oversized long shank and drop stationary studs being brass mounted in large studs having a floral tooling. The entire outside surface of the spurs from stud to rowel on both sides shows a fine solid mounting of silver with wonderful leaf design and diamond and star pattern. The spurs have a fine early solid construction with generous silver mounting and large eight-point rowels. The spurs are accompanied with a set of tooled spur straps. The set of spurs are unmarked and have a nice even patina from natural age and use. Each spur (without the spur straps) measures 7.5”L by 4.5”W with 1 1/8” diameter spots and 2 1/8” diameter rowels.
