Texas International Pop Festival Poster (1969)
Texas International Pop Festival Poster (1969). While the East Coast had Woodstock, the West Coast had Monterey, and Atlanta had its festival, here in Texas, it was this little ol' Rock festival that people still talk about today. Held at the Dallas International Speedway on Labor Day Weekend, the impressive line-up included Led Zeppelin, Spirit, Ten Years After, Santana, Sly and the Family Stone, Chicago Transit Authority, Johnny Winter, the Blues Kings B. B. and Freddy, Nazz (sadly without mastermind Todd Rundgren, who had just left for a solo career), Canned Heat, and best of all, Janis Joplin, for a three-day extravaganza this area has not seen the likes of since. This ultra-rare poster measures approximately 23.75" x 17.5"; it's been mounted on a piece of foamcore board, but is otherwise in excellent NM condition, ready to frame and enjoy.

Shipping: Flat Material, Large (view shipping information)
