This is a unique beaded flat medicine pouch from the Teton Sioux Native American Indains dating to circa 1890-1910. The piece is from the Kings Saddlery Museum in Sheridan, Wyoming and was purchased by Otto Ernst for sale in his Saddlery Catalog. The bag shows an Indian tanned hide construction with fringed edge and early glass trade seed beadwork having a Buffalo Bison pictorial effigy in the center with square pattern along the outer edge all in chalk white, dark blue and medium green. The bag shows overall well preserved condition. Measures 5 1/2"x 6 3/4". Review pictures.
