<B>Terrific Comics #1 Davis Crippen ("D" Copy) pedigree (Continental Magazines, 1944) CGC VG+ 4.5 Off-white pages.</B></I> The Crippen <B>Suspense Comics</B></I> run in a previous auction was a hit to say the least, and we expect much collector interest in these <B>Terrific</B></I> books which came from the same stable of writers and artists. The first issue is a Gerber "7." The cover is by Don Rico and there's interior art by L. B. Cole. Also of interest is the opium-themed story "Spawn of the Poppy." Overstreet 2006 VG 4.0 value = $632.
