Terminator Schwarzenegger Cast & Crew Signed Bullet-Riddled Leather Motorcycle Jacket
Terminator Schwarzenegger Cast & Crew Signed Bullet-Riddled Leather Motorcycle Jacket Perhaps no three words are more familiar in cinema history than "I'll be back", which one must say with the thickest Austrian accent possible. It was of course first uttered by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the very first "Terminator" motion picture back in 1984. Arnold says it to a policeman at the security desk of a Police Station after the policemen refuses to let him into the inner offices. A second later the policeman looks up in horror as Schwarzenegger drives a massive truck right into the station, and through the officers booth so he can complete his mission to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), who was led there by "future solider" Kyle (Michael Biehn). Arnold goes on a killing spree, shooting officers on his quest to find Sarah. During this famous sequence Arnold wears an iconic leather motorcycle jacket. The ill-fated officers shoot back at him, but of course, being a cyborg, their bullets have no effect. This is one of the actual leather motorcycle jackets worn by Arnold Schwarzenegger during this famous sequence. He is hit many times by the officers bullets, so therefore several special jackets had to be rigged with squibs for multiple takes, to explode and create the illusion of bullet hits. This is one of these specially rigged jackets. The "bullet hit" squib tears and powder burns are still visible, as is the special stitching to accommodate the squib wires. That alone would make for an amazing collectable. However this jacket goes one astonishing step further. It was given to the effects department after production and has been signed by the main cast and crew, including Arnold Schwarzenegger (Terminator), Michael Biehn (Kyle Reese), Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor), Lance Hennriksen (Detective Hal Vukovich), as well as Co-Writer and Director James Cameron! A spectacular museum quality display piece. Also comes with a Letter of Provenience.
