Terminator Salvation Marcus After Bombing Outfit On Custom Display Stand
Although "Terminator Salvation" (2009), finally wraps up much of John Connor's (Christian Bale) destiny, the film really belongs to Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington) who goes through a staggering gauntlet (including beginning the film in jail getting a lethal injection!) of both emotional and physical transformation. In a key sequence near the end of the film, he is on the run when he realizes he is more cyborg than human, and the Resistance believes he's the enemy. In order to flush him out of a forest at night, they instigate an "Apocalypse Now" style napalm bombing creating a towering sheet of fire. Since he is more metal than flesh, he survives, and comes out of the inferno to confront Connor's, and finally to get him into Skynet headquarters to help him in a final battle. This is a true museum quality display piece. A mannequin set up on a base of faux-rock and stone, complete with the smashed "skull" of a T-800 Terminator, and a piece of broken conduit. On the mannequin is Marcus' screen worn burned, ripped and blasted outfit that he wears after surviving the fire attack. It includes what is left of his jacket, shirt, leather pants and boots. The Jacket has "Marcus" written in the label. More than life size, this is a powerful piece of memorabilia and art work that completely defines what many feel to be the best, and most explosive in the Terminator series. (Mannequin with base is over 75" tall). Oversized item. Additional postage required.
