Ten Cents a Dance (Columbia, 1931). Lobby Cards (2) (11 Ten Cents a Dance (Columbia, 1931).
Ten Cents a Dance (Columbia, 1931). Lobby Cards (2) (11" X 14"). Actor Lionel Barrymore directed this Barbara Stanwyck vehicle. Barrymore's creative output was tremendous. He played some of his most famous roles in "Grand Hotel," "Rasputin and the Empress" and, of course, "It's a Wonderful Life." In addition, he found time to try his hand at etching, composed several classical pieces, wrote a novel and autobiography and invented the boom mike. He may not have performed the restoration on these two lobby cards, but he certainly would have appreciated the professional work on each card. Pinholes in the corners and tears on the edges have been patched. One card is slightly faded, and the other card has a barely visible abrasion and crease mark on the image, but both cards display beautifully. Very Good/Fine.
