Telegram to Adeline Nall. A Western Union telegram, dated April 4, 1956, from Kent Williams to Adeline Nall, James Dean's high school drama teacher, on the eve of a performance in New York. It reads: "From Jimmy and us disciples warmest wishes for this and many other happy openings." Dean often encouraged Nall to pursue acting off-Broadway, which she eventually did to modest success.
