Teenie Weenie Peanut Butter Can and Ad (Reid, Murdoch and Co., 1926). A tiny whistle blows and the little people known as the Teenie Weenies hurry to their various departments where they set to work packaging the delicious Teenie Weenie food, which so many people enjoy. Creator William Donahey moved his Teenie Weenies out from underneath their rose bush into the world of advertising in 1927, following the demise of the comic strip. This large Monarch Teenie Weenie Peanut Butter tin, produced by Reid, Murdoch & Co, measures 12" wide by 14.5" tall. Imprinted on one side is the Monarch Teenie Weenie Peanut Butter logo and on the other side is a beautiful, full-color scene featuring all the Teenies. There are some rust spots on the tin edges, otherwise the tin is in Very Good condition. This lot includes a full-page, full-color Teenie Weenie ad that was originally printed in the Ladies' Home Journal in July, 1926. Share in the Teenie Weenie whimsy -- bid now! 2 items
