1959 baseball speech handwritten by Chicago White Sox Hall of Famer Ted Lyons. Composed on lined notebook paper, speech runs 7pp. pages all penned in Lyons' own hand. Excerpt: ''…When you pitch - you go along with your best shots and if you get in trouble the Manager mercifully comes out and gives you the standard canned conversation 'Well Ted it's just not your day - Let's let so & so finish up…'' 7pp. speech plus 3pp. of financial notes.
