Four TLSs to assistant manager of the Boston Symphony Orchestra Harry J. Kraut, each signed “Ted,” three on US Senate letterhead (dated 1966–1971), and one on personal letterhead (dated 2004). Two letters from 1966 congratulate Kraut for excellent performances, both bearing brief autograph postscripts; one letter from 1971 relates to Kraut’s decision to leave the BSO; and the 2004 letter thanks him for a contribution to Kennedy’s 2006 reelection campaign. In 1971 Leonard Bernstein hired Kraut away from the Boston Symphony Orchestra to serve as business manager of his company, Amberson Productions. Also includes three ALSs from his first wife, Joan Bennett Kennedy, and an ANS from Marilyn Horne. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by an issue of Modern Screen magazine depicting Kennedy on the front cover.
