Rich toned walnut and walnut burl were used in the construction of this 19th century English tea caddy. The beautiful grain can be seen on the sarcophagus top with gadrooning and front with shield shaped escutcheon in mother of pearl. Small ball feet on the underside. The interior consists of two deeply toned walnut lids with unique knobs and pewter toned interior compartments. In excellent condition. Measures 9L X 6H X 5.5W.
